This time he wants to tax Ford for building cars in Mexico. To the tune of 35%. What is it with him and the auto industry? Jeeps in China, Fords in Mexico. No word on his plans for all the other manufacturers products made in Mexico.
I guess when you have everything that money can buy, you long for the things it can’t buy. Say respect or popularity. Sorry Donald, those are elusive and you are not gaining either.

The jeeps being built in China are going to be sold in China only (perhaps a few nieghboring counties at most). This is because China has a huge tax on imported vehicles, something like 100% as I recall. So Jeep, along with several other automakers build plants in China so they can increase their sales there since it pretty much cuts the price of a new vehicle in half.
